Comparison

Vicimus and Fullpath: two ways to reach the same customer.

Fullpath builds on a customer data platform — unify the data first, then activate it. Vicimus builds on the stack you already run — add the retention layer, leave everything else alone. Both end up sending the right message at the right time; they get there from opposite directions.

The real difference

Data-first or layer-first.

01

Fullpath's premise is unification

Its published pitch is a Customer Data Platform as “one unified data layer” and a “source of truth”, with audience activation, advertising and website engagement built on top. That is a coherent architecture and it works best when you commit to it.

02

Ours is that the data is already somewhere

Your DMS has the service history and your CRM has the deal. Bumper reads both and acts on them. There is no consolidation project in front of the first campaign.

03

Which one fits depends on your appetite for a project

If you are already planning a data consolidation, a CDP-first vendor is a sensible place to put it. If you want retention running this quarter without one, that is what a layer is for.

When Fullpath is the right answer

  • You want one system of record for customer data and are prepared to run that consolidation.
  • Your advertising and your customer data are the same problem in your mind, and you want one vendor for both.
  • You are comfortable with AI-driven activation making the targeting decisions.

When a layer is the right answer

  • Your data is spread across a DMS and a CRM that both work, and moving it is not this year's project.
  • You want live people on the phone as part of the follow-up, not only automated journeys.
  • You want to start with retention and add the rest later, or not at all.
