Comparison

Vicimus and DealerSocket: retention inside the CRM, or beside it.

DealerSocket puts retention in RevenueRadar, an equity-mining tool that lives alongside its CRM and DMS. Vicimus puts it in Bumper, which runs on top of whichever CRM and DMS you have. If you are already on DealerSocket, this is a question about depth. If you are not, it is a question about whether you want to move.

The real difference

Equity mining is a feature. Lifecycle is a programme.

01

RevenueRadar is a targeting tool

Its published description is database mining across purchase history and service habits, with “11 different ways to target past customers”. That is real, and for a store already on DealerSocket it is the obvious first move.

02

Bumper is a contact programme

Targeting is the start of it. What follows — the sequence across email, SMS, voicemail and live calls, and the record of consent behind each one — is where a lifecycle programme differs from a list.

03

The deciding question is your CRM

RevenueRadar's advantage is that it is next to your CRM. If your CRM is DealerSocket, that counts for a lot. If it is not, a layer that does not care which CRM you run counts for more.

What each one covers

DealerSocket's coverage is taken from its own published product list. Where both say yes, both mean it.

When DealerSocket is the right answer

  • You are already on DealerSocket CRM or one of its DMS products and want retention adjacent to it.
  • You want your CRM and your DMS from the same supplier.
  • Equity mining specifically, rather than a full contact programme, is the gap you are filling.

When a layer is the right answer

  • Your CRM is something else and you are not moving it.
  • You want the follow-up to include live BDC calls, not only automated targeting.
  • You want consent recorded per customer with a timestamp and a source, to a standard stricter than US law asks for.
